Luminex Announces Data/Ware CD 4.0 Product Release
Riverside, CA, February 4, 2002 Luminex Software, Inc. today announced the development and shipment of its Data/Ware CD 4.0 product, which will enhance the already robust Data/Ware CD product with many new features.
With new automated operational upgrades, labeling, and packing list functions, Data/Ware CD represents the premier, high-end automated application suite that is tailored toward the conversion of mainframe, data center, and enterprise information (print files, databases, images, etc.) onto CD-R media. Luminex's Unix and Mainframe-based customers have been migrating to this efficient and cost effective CD concept for nearly seven years.
Additional CD viewer support for CD libraries, called our Data/Bank Library product, has also been added to enhance the storage and retrieval capacity of vast amounts of archived data. This CD viewer enhancement coupled with a larger disc capacity configuration positions the Data/Ware CD system as a perfect solution for the enterprise customer.
Some of the new Data/Ware CD enhancements include:
- Bar-code labeling for media tracking
- Disaster recovery and fault-tolerant features
- Print quality options
- Flexible job creation and scheduling
- Enhanced job verification options.
