Assemblyman Benoit Recognizes Luminex Software, Inc. as Small Business Of The Year
Special Event in Sacramento Honors Small Businesses
Sacramento, CA—May 30, 2006—Assemblyman John J. Benoit (R-Riverside) recognized Luminex Software, Inc. of Riverside today at a special event in Sacramento. The event was a part of the California Small Business Association’s Small Business Day honoring the contributions that small businesses make to the state. Honorees from participating State Senate and Assembly Districts around the state attended a tribute luncheon at which 82 small businesses were recognized.
“It’s time for the Legislature to get serious about restoring the California dream,” said Assemblyman Benoit. “Small businesses like Luminex Software make a vitally important contribution to our community. They are creating new jobs, improving our economy and providing important services. Small businesses are the life-blood of our economy. We must protect and encourage small business growth; when they suffer, California suffers," stated Benoit.
Luminex Software, Inc. is a leading developer of data storage products that tackle the complex challenges of storing, archiving, distributing and protecting data.
