Luminex Announces Prepress Focused CD Archiving Solutions

Riverside, CA - March 31, 1998 - Luminex is now shipping their new, prepress focused CD archiving solutions. The archiving solutions were designed specifically to address the unique requirements of the prepress industry. The Luminex NET-CDR and CD-Recordable library solutions can read and create true Macintosh HFS formatted CDs from a UNIX server. Luminex solutions now support all major AppleShare connectivity products by adding support for Helios EtherShare, and IPT uShare, along with support for Xinet K-AShare.

Luminex and Sony presented a CD archiving and networking solution together at the Heidelberg Digital Imaging Association's 10th Annual Conference and Exhibition in February.
